Ok so I have a court date on the 17th of this month for a 15 over ticket. I had forgotten about it till my phone reminded me yesterday and I wanted to get the disclosure but cuz i forgot about the ticket I never got around to it.
It is way to close to the court date to request that right? And if so, is there anything else i can do, or just hope the officer doesnt show up?

Pretty sure you can get it anytime (might take a few days) the longer you wait the less time you'll have to go over it...
I just won a careless ticket yesterday - good luck on yours :)

Should have had your phone remind you +6 weeks prior to the court date, so you could have requested the disclosure.

The disclosure request is an important step. Whether it is used to delay the proceeding or to find holes in the case.

Fighting traffic tickets is a serious matter, not to be taken lightly....

NEXT!! ;)

I think I will fax it away today anyways and see what happens. Worst case I cant get it and at this point i dont anyways, so worth a shot. Maybe could delay the trial.

Possibly... I would try too. There ain't no harm in trying! However, the JP will probably ask when you made the disclosure request and if you tell him/her "9 days ago", I doubt they will allow you to delay based on not getting the disclosure in time.

If you are faxing the disclosure request, ensure you have the correct fax number. Once faxed, call and confirm the fax was received. Note the person's full name who confirmed the fax was received and the date and time it was received.

Which court is it?
