Millennium trail PEC

from the link:

  • The trail can be used by walkers, hikers, joggers, cyclists, ATV riders, dirt bikers (licensed & insured), horses and riders, mobility devices, snowmobiles, skiers, snowshoers, pets. Out of that long list of users, it’s horses that have the ultimate right of way.
Just in case you were thinking of using the motorcycle...

Motorcycle is fine if dirt bikes are allowed.

That’s what I understand it to be. Just watch out for the other traffic. PEC is pretty awesome in the summer. Tons of restaurants and places to explore, loads of patios. A lot of it is based around wine/beer but you can buy for later off the bike or if camping nearby or B&B etc. For me PEC is a really easy day trip or an afternoon as it’s 45 mins away. This trail looks to be great because one of the issues in the summer can be car traffic…which you won’t get on the trail.

Some neat places to explore are the extremities of the “island”. There are some great hidden beaches and lighthouses.

This is going to be a lot of fun.

If you GTA people could snag a campsite at Sandbanks (book very early!) you’d have a blast. Combine it with trips north to explore the Trent Severn waterway north of Trenton and that would be a decent motorcycle trip weekend.

I have done all of those area's in a day trip. Fun to do with great long summers days!
