I think it's pretty normal for wave rotors to pulsate...
Did you change your pads as well? Are you using the recommended pads?

Given your history, I'm pretty sure you're full of **** as usual.

I had the OPERTUNITY to acquire a new set of his wave rotors .
I put them on my 600rr , and as to my displeasure I had a massive pulsing in the front end !
I asked them for months if they/he would replace them and he said NO!
He wanted me to purchase another set at a discount!
I wanted a STRAIGHT SWAP ! Again I got a NO!
I do believe they were a NO NAME Chinese brand, where he just CNC machined there initials in them!

The moral of my story is buyer beware!
As these rotors r no good!

troll.

In other words, you didn't buy them directly.

And what was the history of these rotors prior to you "acquiring" them? Were they installed on another bike ... were they banging around in someone's spare parts bin ... or what?

I asked them for months if they/he would replace them and he said NO!
He wanted me to purchase another set at a discount!

And since you weren't the person who bought them from him, and there's no paper trail of ownership that would either provide some history of these particular parts and/or the transferrable warranty that they may or may not have (I don't know - but it's unlikely), he owes you nothing. Zip, zero, zilch.

I wanted a STRAIGHT SWAP ! Again I got a NO!

And why should he give away salable merchandise for unsalable, in the absence of any documented, valid, transferable warranty?

I do believe they were a NO NAME Chinese brand, where he just CNC machined there initials in them!

I have no idea where the Mikeymoto rotors are coming from. Perhaps what you say here is true. Perhaps that particular set of rotors were bad. Maybe others are good; maybe not. Or perhaps a previous owner treated them badly, or leaned on them with a tire iron while installing a tire. But in the absence of paperwork that (A) indicates the existence of a transferable warranty at all, and (B) that you are the legitimate owner of those parts AND the transferable warranty on them ... he owes you nothing.

Almost all high-performance parts have no warranty on them.

P.S. The Braketech rotors that I put on my race bike, work fine. But, my method of "acquiring" them was to pay Bluestreak Racing some money.

No rotor should ever cause a pulse in your brakes, wave or regular. Pulsing is due to being warped, allowable run out should not be enough to feel a pulse....

Simple enough to prove warpage with a simple dial gauge check

Your request for new rotors to be swapped were declined for the following reasons . Your brake pads were 3 years old and were track/race used ,and proper torque specs were not used when installing these rotors. New brake rotors should always be used with new brake pads. Being you obtained these rotors in october and finally brought them back in june to test for runout, and were in the acceptable limit, the cause was due to incompatible brake pads.

Just to add , you did not purchase these rotors........they were given to you for free as per your demands as an "as is" deal with a track bike. So no warranty should be assumed.

Was it the bike that he bought from you?
The carbon wrapped CBR600?
He's trying to sell it as never raced/tracked. Lol, what a ****.

(it use to be red when raced in soar) then 3 years of trackdays on it.

Interesting since here are my emails between goggless600rr and myself. Goggless 600rr in blue:

Hi im interested in the bike, is it still for sale?
If it is i have a couple questions, are you the original owner? If not what is the history of the bike?

Howcome the mileage is so low? Has it ever been down? And what company are the carbon fiber fairings made by?

Thanks

Hi there

To answer your questions

I am the second owner, I bout it from a mature rider.
The carbon fairings were on the bike when I bout it.

The bike hasn't been dropped or down.
There r no scratches at all on the bike!
The mileage is true ,as the prior owner never REALY road it, that's y he sold it to me.
I'm selling it cause I have two bikes , and I am going to keep me Harley .
As my 14 and10 year old boys like to go with me for rides!
The bike is awesome , and is set up very nicely!
Lost of mods ! Carrozzeria wheels $2400 ,yosh exhaust $700,power commander, shorty levers, woodcraft engine guards , and much more!

Thank you,Colin

I noticed the tail looks like a setup from a race bike, has this bike ever been a race bike or is that cosmetic?
Also any lien on the bike? And do you have the UVIP?

Thanks

Hi Paul the tail is strictly cosmetic! As it wouldn't look right with the stock tail section!

I have NO LIENS AGAINST THE BIKE.
I do have the resent uvip package.
The bike also has new tires this April.
Anymore questions
I can be reach at 647-339-xxxx , text or talk.

Thanks Colin
