Anyone know of somewhere in Durham that does this? I need my rotors done.

No I'm not using sandpaper, rotor hone, scotch bright pad. I've tried and I didn't get the results I want.

Try mfp coatings in pickering. I believe they use media.

Stafford in whitby maybe? I know they do sand, but they are specialty blasting as well for monuments and such, they may offer a lighter media option.

What kind of media? Walnut shells, aluminum oxide, glass, plastic beads, etc etc ?

All are types of media, sand is a general term that get tossed around but I don't know anyone that actually shoots sand at parts. Media is a term used to describe many different abrasive meterials used to media blast

I use mostly aluminum oxide which comes in more then a dozen different grits

You need to be more specific as "media" could be many different things

Apparently wallnut and glass works well but as long as the media doesn't pit or imbed itself in my iron rotors and removes the pad material I'm not fussy on what they use.

give it to somebody that understands the project, use the wrong media/ pressure/ idiot running the nozzle, and you can warp metal parts.

This time you can't blame it on the media, it's the idiot running the nozzle's fault.
