I backpacked across Spain a couple of summers ago and it was amazing. Very hot, amazing beaches, nice people and pretty cool things to see.

How much do guest rooms/hostels cost there? I just checked flights, and its a little more $ compared to Costa Rica - I don't mind, but I am on a budget.

My last trip was to Asia. We stayed at hostels (in Cambodia) that cost $3 a night :laughing8: breakfast, lunch and dinner didn't cost more than $10. Beer was $0.75
 
I stayed at hostels and it wasn't too expensive. Not $3 a night but not expensive either. (maybe $15 a night).

Food is dirt cheap and wine and beer are cheaper than water. Tapas dinners are to die for and the night life was amazing!

Good choice. Also try Mancora in northern Peru. There is great surfing there and it is cheap (though it is a real pain in the ***** to get too). Check the weather though. It is their fall but I think it is still generally warm there at this time of year.
 
Flights to Europe are dirt cheap right now (Air transat).

Go to Rome, Venice, Amsterdam, etc...make it a memorable one. Great time to travel since you will beat the summer rush. And hostels are a plenty over there. You can jump on a train or take incredibly cheap flight between countries and maybe visit one, two or three in a week's time.

Just beware of the ash cloud. It's still causing delays.
 
Nothing is better than Spain...Castalia, Soria and Mooltan,
Very nice and amazing places for enjoyment.
I strongly hope that you will enjoy your time. You will feel and see nature there.
