Matt @ Rider's Choice - AMAZING PRICE/SERVICE!

I needed a 1 piece suit to complete my track shopping list, went to GP Bikes first but I decided to visit Rider's Choice after and I'm glad I did.

First of all, GP Bikes is an authorized Dainese vendor, however they only have ~10-15 suits in stock which is weak for a store of that caliber.
The suit I was after (Dainese Laguna Seca Pro) was not in stock and had to be ordered in, they told me 2-3 weeks for the suit to arrive.

I decided to make a trip to Rider's Choice, I called in advance to make sure they had the suit I wanted in the colour/size I wanted, Matt confirmed the colour/size and I was on my way from Ajax, in bumper to bumper traffic!

Picked up the suit, got a Dainese back protector and Performance Under Gear (top/bottom) for an AMAZING deal!

I like GP Bikes, but if you're looking for Dainese gear, Rider's Choice is the place you want to visit.
Awesome service, GREAT prices and very friendly people.

It's one of their entry level (cheaper) suits, nothing fancy...
A little pricey compared to some Alipnestars/Teknic stuff but I like Dainese.
I have a couple of their jackets and just love the quality/fit.

Nice suit, what was the price?
Thanks, PM sent!

If your gonna spend $2000+ anywhere, of course they'll treat u right.

I get what you're saying, but I didn't spend $2K or even close to it.
They looked after me by giving me a good price, the track day was just icing on the cake.

I'll stick with my reasonably priced, equally protective Racer5 Speedgear.

To each their own, I own a few Dainese pieces and I really like the fit/quality.
I'm sure Fawaz makes great stuff, I read some of the reviews that track day riders/racers posted on his suits and I'm sure they will hold up.

What's the going rate for a Racer5 suit?
A buddy of mine is looking for a custom suit, let me know, you can PM me if you like.
Thanks!

Matt and others at RC are great guys you'll have blast at their trackdays

RC is good people.

Bought lots of Dainese stuff from them and they always beat US pricing.

John's always looked after me and has a customer for life.

Mina, congrats on the suit! I have the same, actually closer to mid-range vs. entry level. Has some very nice tech that is beyond what others can offer. Rule of thumb is to shop at RC last. You'll understand why!

Agree with Fili-mac, RC trackdays are easy going and totally fun. It's great to see total beginners and racers at the same event. Always a great crowd and a very open learning environment for those starting out!

BTW, anyone who liked the customer service at that Italian bike place if Vaughan will love that their ex-shop manager Mike is now at RC!

I've had mostly good luck at RC - I ordered some shoes through them, and bought a back protector, jacket, and gloves there. I don't know if I got any sort of deal on any of them though =/.

I may hit them up for a suit and see what kind of deal I can get. I'd like another helmet (I may be waiting for the new AGV helmets), boots, suit, and gloves this year. Maybe the secret will be to buy them all at once =\

For what it's worth, I didn't get any discount when I bought my jacket there last year.
It definitely helps if you buy several items at once.

Bought some Dainese gloves there not too long ago. Got $20 off at the register. Not sure if they do this a lot but it was a welcome surprise. Will definitely keep them in mind for my next purchase.

Very nice suit. I find that RC has the best selection of Dainese in the GTA. Good quality gear at that store.

I would Hardely call the laguna seca a entry level cheaper suit. Very high quality over a lot of other suits. I just bought the same suit but in white from them and trq boots

I'm usually in and out, I know what I want, I go get it and leave.
This time I spent a little bit of time browsing around the store, they definitely carry all top quality stuff.

RC's prices are very competitive already and they have a Club Riders Choice membership that costs nothing and saves you another 5%. They carry a select line of high quality gear (that'll probably last longer than your bike) and may seem expensive if you're not comparing against the same or similar. They are also quite open that paying by cash or debit helps them give you a better price. That means the $ goes back to you instead of VISA.

I've been a customer of RC for 5 years now and I think I'm typical of their client base. I look for a place I can trust in the long term, and sells stuff that I need, not what they think they can move a ton of. Those places have a very short memory of you as a customer, and IMO that works against you in the long term.

I agree! RC is fantastic. The first time I heard about them was at the March show and Matt was awesome. He was honest and not pushy at all, which I like. I ended up buying a helmet from them at the show.

Since then, I have bought a bunch of stuff from them (Dainese jacket, pants, boots, back protector). Their selection, service and pricing is top notch.

For any gear I need in the future, RC will be my first stop!
