Markham to Forks route idea

I plan on doing a nice friday evening ride tonight, destination will probably be forks/hockley since there's really no other nice riding roads close by, I'll be setting out from markahm. I'v always just taken the 407 to hwy10 but Id like to change it up this time with some back roads, was thinking elgin mills > bathurst > king all the way. Any tips on nice routes to take would be great, doesnt have to be direct a detour could be nice.

Thanks matt that route looks good!

Probably gonna set out around 8 depends on when I get off work, usually dont do group rides but as long as your ok with a rather spirited pace ill post up when I know what time im heading.
