wtf is up w/ that intersection? I've seen 4 accidents there.

There was an accident there yesterday. Two weeks ago I am eastbound on Progress stopped at the lights curb lane, buddy in a car beside me, light turns green for us, I hang back a bit to double check and some knucklehead who was south on Markham turning east on Progress decides to go for it and plows into side of buddys car on the east side at the crosswalk.
Unbelieveable. Last summer there was a high end Mercedes in the same spot, with the front end sheared right off at the firewall.

Doesn't the north bound lanes do a bit of a jog there from one side of the intersection to the other?

No its straight through, the only thing jogging around are the cars.

usually see some good accidents where you have a highway off ramp going onto a road with no stop light or intersection such as the eastbound 401 markham road exit
