CMA is nothing for motocross anymore. CMRC is, (for now) the dominant club across the country, with a true coast to coast national series. However, it is NOT recognized by the FIM and it hurts out riders. Americans come up here to cherry pick, or a 20th place AMA national rider will come up here and battle for top 5. We're a stepping stone.
If she would just let go of it, give the international recognition to the CMRC then maybe we could get somewhere.
CMRC isn't what it once was, and that is only the fault of greedy, backstabbing people at the top. I hear of a lot of the crap that goes on, and it's tasteless.
Year after year they book the Montreal "supercross" the same weekend as the MX of Nations. The top two teams in Canada that have good Canadian riders won't let those riders go and compete to represent the country because they want their sponsors to have their guys at the Montreal race.
Canadian MX really is a joke, and there needs to be a change over up top... Luckily there are a few clubs gaining steam, and maybe some day rival the CMRC.
