Major blow for horse racing

It would have been exciting but I do know a bit about the horse racing business and I'm happy to see an owner and trainer who are more concerned with the animals well being in mind and not JUST the win.
 
Agreed. Was looking forward to the big event from all the media hype leading up to it and was floored by the headline. An unfortunate turn of events.

Well there is that but I don't think that they pulled him to keep stud fees up. I don't think pulling him hurt them but letting him race could have made him even more valuable.
