You want to check with Exova testing, their components lab at the Winston Churchill / QEW location can do the compressive, tensile, fatigue etc. There might be specific fixturing for wheel testing required though.
If you're just looking for cracks, you probably want the wheel stripped of any paint.
I believe Mg is always protected with something because it oxidizes so easy.
Then any reputable machine shop should be able to FPI it to check for cracks you won't see with your eye.
