Anyone at the final rounds of SOAR in 2012 will remember this crazy Scottsman Bill McKean (aka mad crash Bill) he was riding a vintage bike. A very interesting character that would defy anyone not to have a laugh at his comments/stories. Last weekend at the VRRA round at Shannonville he had a bad get off in T1. It is very serious and he remains in ICU at Kingston General. Everyone needs to send thoughts and prayers for his recovery. GWS Soon Bill from the SOAR Family!
 
Guys, The doctors have advised that if his family could make it they should come soon.

Bill has an 18 yr old Daughter in Scotland who has not seen him for a few years. She is in college and does not have the means to fund a visit to see her dad on such short notice. If anyone would like to contribute there is a thread on the VRRA board right now with the account details.

Everyone,

It is with great sadness and a heavy heart to have to announce that Bill succumbed to his injuries and passed away peacefully shortly after 2 am this morning in ICU at Kingston General Hospital.

As arrangements are made according to his families wishes I will keep everyone informed.

Bill will be returning to Scotland.
