M1 written test help!

Hey guys. Tmmrw i'm going for my M1 and G1 written tests together, I'm looking at the drivetest.ca locations, and was a bit confused. Do all the locations contain both m1 and g1 written tests?

Also, can I do my m1 and g1 at the same time?

iirc, when you write the m1, you do both the g1 and m1 at the same time. . .you get both accreditations on your license.

it was a shock to me when i wrote my m1, as i wasn't expecting to have to do the g1 (didn't study that book). still aced it.

Okay so let me get this clear, tmmrw when I go to do my m1 written, I get both my g1 and m1? I understand that you do the g1 test (2 pages) and then 1 page of m1, so if I pass, I get both my g1 and m1 ?
 
But like will I be charged for the M1 only? the 17.50 or the G1 as well?

there's only one fee, iirc.

just sayin', if you're worried about how much the licensing fees are, you might want to reconsider bikes--they're an expensive hobby. . .
 
They will ask you if ur getting the road test else where. If you are it will be 17 bucks. If you plan to do the road test with that place its the full amount

Thanks everyone :) just came back did my m1 and g1 at the same time passed both :) Kk so now, I see a 40 dollar exit test that I was charged for. Can someone explain what this is and what I will have to do next?

That covers the cost of your M1 exit road test. When they asked you if you're planning on taking a motorcycle course, if you answered no they charge you for the road test as well. If you said yes, they don't charge you for it as the cost of the test is included in the cost of the course.

I *highly* suggest you take the course.

+1 -- Definitely take the course. As for the $40, you'd have to look, but there is a form/method for getting it reimbursed if you take the course (and complete it). I remember seeing it on the DriveTest website in the past (looked it up for friends).

Yeah, another +1. Take the course. Yes, it's $400+, but it will be the best $400 you'll spend on your motorcycle related stuff.
