M1 Exit Test Question

Hi everyone,

I just need some advice. I'll be doing my M1 exit test at Drive Test in 2 weeks at the Victoria Park & Lawrence location. I just have a few questions, on the braking test, is there a line you initiate the break test before you come to a complete stop? How fast are you supposed to go? I'll be doing the test on a Vespa.

Also, has anyone ever waiting on standby in case I want to do my test earlier?

Any input will help.

Thanks.

There will be a point at which you have to start and stop braking. However, I believe it's a timed exercise rather than stopping behind any line or point. It's even okay if you skid. The points, if I remember right, all come from time. You should get up to 30-35 km/h before you start the braking process.

I am not so sure about the skid being allowed. Demerits were issued on the ministry test with Sheridan.

Hi,

I spoke to the Drive Test and a scooter is allowed for an unrestricted license as long as its at least 50cc or greater and can maintain a speed greater than a LSM scooter.
