So I'd like to say I did my m1 exit through humber at the hershey centre in mississauga and I had the best instructors of life! Having never riden before other then in the back of a bike... they made my learning experience knowledgable and FUN!

Now I'm on the hunt for a bike. I'm looking for a kawasakai ninja 2008 however I want to pay 3000-3500 depending on condition. I've found through my search some people are definitely inflating the value and cost of their motorcycles... not impressed..

I'm super excited to start riding!!!

well if people wouldn't give them so much attention.....

I recently bought a Ninja 250 too.
Wanted to put in my 2 cents about the prices. The prices are not artificially "inflated". They are the going prices for those bikes. People are willing to pay it so they become market prices. They are high compared to a new bike, but it's a high demand bike.
You might have a tough time finding one for $3000-3500. If that budget is a hard budget, you might want to consider a high mileage or dropped bike?

+1. Welcome and dont be an attention whore like some of the chicks on here ..

Don't listen to inferno, the board needs more whores...wait...wut?

You might have to look outside the GTA for a $3000 ninja.

If you can drive up, do the deal, insure the bike and ride it home after, it could be worth $100 in gas.

Welcome and good luck with your hunt. Ride safe

thats all i gotta say... I'm here to learn everything about a new sport... not about trying to pick up boys.. ya bikes are hot ya i look hot in my bike gear... but its irrelevant..! the relevance lies in learning how to master the art of motorcycling.. =)

Looks like it also comes with some gear... you can probably sell that to recoup the gas cost.

Looking outside the GTA is good start. If you're "adventurous", you could also look state-side for some good deals, but then you're exchanging $$$ savings for added work.

Edit: Scratch that, just saw the earlier post on your purchase. Congrats and PLEASE be safe out there! Oh, and welcome to the boards.

Congrats! :)

Glad you had fun with the course, cant wait to do mine.

Have some enjoyable and safe riding
