Low Rear Tire

Hey guys

I just picked up my bike Saturday and today noticed the back tire was pretty low with air only rode it a few times, longest was from Toronto to Barrie and then just around town, should I be worried or is this normal with new tires ?

Fill it to the proper psi and keep an eye on it, could be a slow leak, maybe you picked up a nail or something look over the tire carefully, perhaps a leaky valve stem/core, take the cap off and put some soapy water on it to see if it bubbles (in the old days we used spit).....

.

If you need any work done, Todd and the boys at Mission Cycle here in Angus are awesome, and his tire prices are unreal.

Sounds good thanks guys, like I said the tires are brand new so I'm just a little concerned that's all, will keep and eye on it for sure.

Something is leaking that's for sure, filled it up last night and pretty low this morning...

Do like gatekeeper says, fill it up and soapy water spray will produce bubbles. Could be a bad mounting job, cracking, valve stem etc.

punctured somewhere, look for a nail, screw, etc, it will be flush by now with the rubber so pay real close attention, or double check the valve as mentioned and as meme said use the soapy water, look for bubbles or a very slow bubble to form

you didn't hit a pot hole and bend the rim did you ?

They are tubeless, I found the leak looks like a tiny puncture you can hear the hiss, will the tire have to be replaced ?

where is the leak, sidewall, or center of tire.....

some will say to replace, other will say you can plug it and it should be fine....was it damaged because of the installation, you did say they were new ?

go back to where you got them and see what they say, about replacement, or repairt

.

I bought it in Toronto and I'm in Barrie, only have my M1, within 1 hour it's lots 13psi so I don't want to drive to far, and it's in the centre of the tire from what I can see, oh I will be calling the place but honestly it looks like a puncture mark.

find a good tire shop or a local motorcycle dealer, have them take a look, you might be able to get a plug on it, better bet is to remove the tire and put a patch on the inside where the puncture is, if it's a small puncture, if any doubt get a new tire....for a puncture I don't think even the place you purchased it from will do much more than anyone local to you....

New tire has been ordered, hopefully it will be done by tomorrow if not early next week. Weather is supposed to be crappy here anyways so I don't feel to bad. Sucks I just got the bike and have to replace something already...

Where did you order it? What tire? If you don't mind me asking...
