Low coolant level: Address immediately?

Hey everyone.

So one of my radiator hoses was loose and I lost a bit of coolant.

I fixed the leak but my coolant level is sitting just under minimum in the resevoir.

I have had no ill effects on the bike and the temp guage seems to be reading within normal operating levels (Im sure the cold air has also helped to cool the engine).

I was wondering if I could just ride until end of season, or should I make it a priority to get more coolant in there.

In other words, could I be messing up my engine in some way by having less coolant than is required circulating throughout the bike?

there is always the chance that air could be drawn into the radiator as it cools. Why not play safe and top it up?

Just leave it for now, and do a full coolant flush in the spring.

Ok thanks everyone.

Checked the level today and it was lower than before.

If there is air in my coolant system, would I have to flush the system in order to get it out? How can you tell if there is air in the system?

Ill top it up tomorrow. But yes, I have been riding like this for a few days.
