Hey folks,
I'm looking for anybody locally who has had some experience with the new Drift Innovations Ghost-S helmet cam.
Specifically, I'm looking for your input on real-world audio/video quality and battery life, particularly for vlogging purposes -- bonus if you've used it in rain/poor weather conditions and can tell me how that worked out.
Even better, if you switched to the Drift and came from the GoPro or Contour line of cameras, I'd love to know your opinion between them.
I personally own two GoPro HD Hero2 cameras, and as a vlogger I'm looking for something with a bit less complex of a helmet-mounting solution. I've had at least 5 of the plastic mounting clips break from my GoPros and am tired of spending $25 each time to pick up a new "bag of mounts" just to get the one or two pieces I actually need. So as a result I just use these as dash-mounted/rear-mounted cameras, but would like a helmet/shoulder-mounted camera for my vlogging use. The Drift Ghost/Ghost-S look like my next choice but feedback is always good to hear.
