Looking for painter

Looking to get quotes while considering options for a new bike this spring. It'll probably involve fixing some small nicks and scratches, a single colour, with medium gloss, tank and fairings.

Can anyone recommend a place to get a bike painted? I don't need any crazy airbrush work. I want to keep it as simple as possible to keep the price down.

Check the "Reviews" section of this forum. Good information.

I did, right now there are only 10 threads showing up there. There is one titled "Reflections paint", but the member who seems to have done that job has a banned account and I can't send him a message.

Tried the search too but it didn't come up with much.

carboncat was banned?

*edit - looks like yes, yes he was. Wonder why....? I don't want to ask questions that'll get me in trouble though.... lol

Looks that way.

He's quicker than the moderator/owner on the track is my guess
:p

Thanks

Y not just buy fairings on ebay, be about the same price.

I've looked at them, but I'm looking to change the colour and the problem is always the tank.

I've had parts painted by both Cheekeebandito and Carboncat. Both guys are top notch. Both have excellent customer service and produce excellent results. Be prepared to spend because the largest part of the painting job is the preparation; the cost of paint spraying and material costs are a small portion of the overall job cost.

Another to consider:

David's Motorcycle Shop
63 Mack Ave., #12
Scarborough, ON

He did a small job for me last winter. Nice work, the price was fair, and ready when he said it would be.
