Looking for boot recommendations...for larger feet

Hello,

I currently have a set of Alpinestars that are at least 8 years old (like a old simple version of the A* SMX) and about ready to fall apart. They have started to wear more quickly with last years track riding as I don't think they like the angle of my angle with the rearsets on the track bike. These were size 47 euro and I had to use some inflatable balls when I got them to expand them a bit to be tight but OK. I wear size 13 shoes usually so 47 or 48 euro size. Would be used for mainly track days so not worried too much about walking capabilities. Not so much worried about price as much as comfort and availability in large sizes. So if you have largish feet and have boots you really like the feel of I'd like some suggestions.

None of the boots were > 46 at the motorcycle shows to try on and few I asked at said they would probably need to order in for size 48 so trying to get some ideas before if I have to get boots ordered in.

At the high end I have heard from 2 people that the A* Supertech-R boots are sized larger (compared to the usual A*) and if you beat them up you can send them back for a 'refresh' for a reasonable $. [the $600+ group]
The Sidi Vertigo seems somewhere in the middle between the A* I have and the full on 'technical' boot of the Supertech-R. [the $4-500 group]
Or there are boots that look like a beefed up newer version of what I have like TCX S-SPEED or Sidi Cobra [the $3-400 group]

So any thoughts welcome.
Thanks, Jeff

I went to the SMX-6 this year (size 45) which was much more comfortable than the same SMX-5 size 45. My toes were quite confined in the previous version which made them a bit uncomfortable, but in the new boot I find they are much more roomy.

Thanks for the input! Gives me some ideas to start with

Thanks, Jeff

I found Sidi's to be narrow (I even have a pair of Sidi MTB race shoes that I love but find them narrow as well).

Alpinestars seem to fit my wide/tall feet well. I have SMX-1's, 2 pairs of SMX Plus, and some Tech 7's (all 2014+).
