Looking for across the US Border (used) dealer/source reccommendations.

Any recommended source/dealer just across the border (New York or Michigan) to purchase motor cycle from?
I called and found that cannot buy new, but used is ok. Any (used) dealer or source recommendations?
 
Sorry, why can't you buy new? Is it just too expensive?

The place where I bought my new bike from is no longer in business. =/
 
From what I understand you can't buy a new vehicle in the states and take it over the border instantly, apparently there's something about it having to be a used bike. Someone said it'd have to be used for like a year or 6 months.
Although I don't have the source link anymore since i read it a while ago.
 
There's no barrier for the importation of new bikes from the US into Canada (as long as it's on the list of vehicles admissable into Canada; you do have to follow the importation process). Manufacturers are pressuring, or forbidding, US dealers from selling to Canadians seeking to import new vehicles (cars and bikes).
 
You might find that if you go farther from the border you may find a dealer that will sell to you. The same comments have been made about various border area car dealers selling to Canadians on other forums.

Head over to www.cycletrader.com, I use 14305 for the area code(Niagara falls NY) and start searching.
 
Check out MacCombs Motorsports out of Chesterfield, MI. I have brought a few bikes across for a few members here now.
Plus the girls that work there are hawttt ..

Why are you looking for bikes from only over the boarder? Are you looking for a specific bike?
