I'm looking for a previous owner if you are on gtam. My buddy recently bought this bike from GP bikes. We're sure we had some stuff removed from the bike pre delivery.

Heres es what I can tell you, that I know.

The previous owner worked at bmw, and traded the bike for a ducati.
the bike is black,
has red pazzo levers
oxford nano led.
Chrispfeiffer sticker on the bike
mileage when we bought about 15,000
2013 year bike.
It came with the brackets for bags.
Had a shorty exhaust.

There's nothing wrong with the bike, I just need some clarification. Can the owner please pm me or call me 416 887 1919. I'd really aprreciate it.

BTW what exactly will talking to the previous owner achieve? Shouldn't you have brought this up at the time of pickup?
Also if the previous owner traded the bike in with for example an exhaust and gp bikes removed it and then put it up for sale, what's the issue?

I completely understand, the problem being is that what the owner might have traded it in with might have been removed and THEN listed by gp bikes.
I understand that the op said it might have been done before delivery but go ahead and prove it to the dealer. They'll simply repeat line one of this post...
 
I'm always curious with talking with the previous owner. After all if they've been riding it for 15k, they know more about the bike than GP
 
No issues with removing items, before it goes on the floor, I'm sure anyone here will have an issue if the items were removed after the deposit wa made.

I have called the sales guy twice, email sent also not heard back. I could be wrong but in this case I'm not but I'd still like to have my facts straight and verify to be absolutely certain, and I will then take this matter up with management. I feel this was a serious violation towards any customer.

I bought my ducati from the owner, and dealt with him. I for sure would not take my bike there for service after this incident.
 
That would be the next step if I cant find the owner here. I was planning to call. The bmw dealerships to see if I could find the person once I get the uvip from mto.

I own a F800r and what do you think is missing? The brackets for the bags can only be installed with the BMW luggage rack. So if you have the the luggage brackets you should have the carrier. The luggage rack and bags were not standard equipment on the F800r but may have been part of a touring package. What is missing from the bike that you saw during the sale that is not on the bike now once he received it?

We got the luggage rack, it was another aftermarket part that was swapped, that's what is bothersome. Like I said if they removed and did not include the previous owners upgraded accesories before the bike goes on the floor we would not care, to remove or swap something after a deposit has been made is just not acceptable. I'm gonna get the uvip on tue and try to locate the previous owner.
 
the dealer has to be omvic certified. if you have a problem with the dealer, talk to omvic, otherwise, the previous owner has nothing to do with your deal.

this is truly bizzare?
