look at the whip

The race was on Sportsnet same-day-coverage last Saturday. The course reminds me a lot of the World Cup course at Mte. Ste. Anne, especially in the wet. Same slippery goop you just have to hang on and hope for the best in.

the commentators are hilarious

Rob Warner. Former Giant factory DH rider, British DH Champ, World Cup racer, and MBUK/Dirt magazine tester/bike destroyer. He's.........nuts.

FYI, Catharine Pendrel from BC won the women's world championship MTB cross country race at the same venue last week. That's a big deal..Alison Sydor was a hero of mine for a while..

On my best day ever I couldn't finish within 15 minutes of those guys on a 3 minute course. Beyond the obvious balance and coordination its the total LACK OF FEAR that is most impressive.

Errr....at about 40 seconds in and again at 2.08....he waves at someone as he's whizzing down that greasy hill. Nutter....talented nutter.

LMAO! "Danny! STAY ON THE BIIIIIIKE!" :lmao: Love the commentators. That was awesome! I just showed it to my 10 yr old. He's nervous and reluctant on his bicycle, he was pretty impressed.

He's removing tearoffs. They're mandatory in conditions like that.

Did the commentator just say 'How does Danny Hart sit down with balls that big?' at the end?

I believe he did lol

Again, that's Rob Warner. He has no filter, and was probably on his 6th beer by then.
