Hi folks,
I found your forum by accident while searching for parts for a buddy's bike.
I'm an old guy who's been riding for almost 34 years and I've ridden a lot of different bikes over the years. My first pure streetbike was a 1972 Kawasaki H2 750; a.k.a.: The Widowmaker, I guess, because of the weak frame! Since then, I've owned Hondas, Suzukis, Triumph and recently, Ducatis.
Riding my first Ducati happened only a couple of years ago, because there wasn't a dealer around (did I mention that I live in New Brunswick?). My wife looked at me when I got off the Monster S4Rs and said that I looked very happy. Whether it was the handling, the unique sound or a combination of both...I was hooked.
I now own two, a 2008 S4Rs Tricolore and I recently bought a 1999 ST4 sport tourer (engine is based on the 916 superbike). I also have a 1998 Honda VTR 1000F "Firestorm".
I ride whenever I have free time and decent weather, which there never seem to be enough of...
Cheers,
Frank
