I am looking for a local source that can reprogram a 2013 Kawasaki ZX6R ECU....There are people doing what I want in the US, but I would like to have it done locally if possible

Any leads are much appreciated
Thanks

Jamie might be able to do it http://ecuflashking.com The site isn't up to snuff but shoot him an e-mail.. If anyone local can, it'll be him

Thanks FS, but I can only do Yamaha at this point :(

Check with these guys, see if they can do the 2013 yet, I know they can do the 2011 as I had one done by them not long ago. Not really local, but not in the USA :)

And just so you know Johnny, most people will ship you a flashed ECU for you to test out, and then just ship your stock one back if satisfied with the flashed one. Obviously with 2013 ECU's being hard to come by this might not be the case though.

And in case they are not able to do it, or they aren't able to offer you pre-shipping of a new ECU, etc. my favourite peeps over at Flash-Tune just told me they have good stock of flashed 2013 636 ECU's all ready to be express shipped directly to you! http://www.flash-tune.com

And Johnny, with the amount of Kawi ish that passes through your shop, ask Flash-Tune about purchasing the flashing equipment. If you're able to get the equipment I can give ya a crash course on the software (as it comes with no manual).

Thanks I will check them out. I am not looking for a standard reflash though, I want the traction control changed from default on to default off.

When I flash R1's I have them default to A mode instead of STD, so I'm sure the same can be done with the TC, to start in OFF mode :) Give the flash-tune guys a call, they are super good to talk to on the phone: 1-888-543-6302

Jamie....any sign of Flash-Tune releasing their Suzuki stuff any time soon? Last time I checked, it was supposed to be late summer; then their main guy got hurt, and I haven't checked lately.

I don't think Flash-Tune like me very much. Every time I told them about a problem and they blew me off, I figured they just didn't understand what I meant, or thought I was doing something wrong, so made a bunch of youtube videos showing all the bugs in the software (copy and paste was one, linked gears was the other, crappy new idle map with no high idle when cold, etc.) and how to work around them. Eventually they stopped answering my e-mails. A year later and like 20 software revisions, copy and paste still doesn't work, and they broke the "link all changes to every gear/cylinder" even worse. The software is still usable, just takes tons of time and tons of double checking to make sure no weird values get in there.

If you want to try out the software you can download it from http://www.flash-tune.com/download (any questions, just let me know).

I made up a new e-mail account and sent them a message saying I was a multi million dollar motorcycle tuning center and was wondering if they had the Suzuki flash equipment available yet. Their response was "we currently have enough dealers at the moment", which I take to mean, if they DO have the suzuki equipment ready, it'll only be going to their official dealers, or it's not ready yet but when it is it'll only go to their dealers.

They are friendly to talk to on the phone, just give em a dingle and ask them WTF is up with the Suzuki ish: 1-888-543-6302 (they open at noon our time).
