Well, after arriving at my destination I realized my plate was bent up and backwards.... 2 months ago someone stole my liscense plate right off my bike, like WTF?! Anyone else had similar experiences? :/

I've had my plate bent up and backwards....but it was my fault. With my fender eliminator the tire actually could hit the plate when the suspension pretty much bottomed out. Maybe the same issue?
Definitely possible, and likely... I've seen quite a few fellow riders' plates bent as a result of the rear wheel hitting it. It may look like you have a lot of clearance, but hitting a decent pothole will prove otherwise...
