License Plate Transfer

I transferred my plates from old motorcycle to newly purchased motorcycle. I still own the old motorcycle but its not being ridden since its not insured and I was thinking of transferring plates backs to the old motorcycle next year. Will service Ontario require safety inspection again ?

Would seem to me that in that process they would want you to register the old one as unfit, it no longer has insurance on it to be considered road worthy. But I would love it if I am incorrect.

Should be no issue as long as you just removed the plate and don't change the status.

+1 only when transfering ownership, is safety needed. I can put one of my other plates on the previous bike. Just need to pay for new sticker.
