Licence plate screw help!

Just bought a bike with these licence plate screws. Original owner doesn't have the tool to unscrew it.

Anyone know where I can get a tool to unscrew it from?








I want to keep using these screws if possible, so that's why I want to know where to get the tool from.

Security Torx is what you are looking for. However from that pic I would just throw a set of vice grips on them since it appears you can grab them from the side.

snap on or mac tools sell those torx drives but for the price,just use visegrips to get them off and throw them away, its not worth it for two bolts.

PA sells security torx bits.... if you can remove them with vice grips, I'd do that. Anyone stealing the plate will simply do the same.

I have those bits in my tool box... don't know where they came from, i inherited mine.

vise grips will get those bad boys off, and then swap them with normal bolts. if someone wants your plates bad enough, they'll take them. if you want a slightly less common bolt, use hex/allan key'd bolts, and that might slow down the garden variety thief.

PA has them, that is where I got mine from. I can't help you out because they are in my box in Windsor, but as mentioned... Visegrip/plier should do the trick

pfffft... all these suggestions of expensive tools like vice grips when you already more than you need... TEETH FTW!
