LF: Lodging in Algonquin or Thousand Island

Hello fellow members,

I'm trying to plan a long weekend trip to Algonquin or Thousand Island this September long weekend.
A lot of my search so far came back with really fancy lodging which costs around $200 ish per person.

I'm just wondering if you guys know of any lodging for both places that are decently priced and suited for a couple.

There are several motels in Gananoque (Thousand Islands) that have reasonable rates and pretty much all of them are motorcycle friendly, too. Keep in mind, though, that the Sept long weekend is one of the busiest in any tourist region and you can expect to pay more than usual. And you'll need to book well in advance.
