LF: Home inspector for the Brampton area

Looking for a home inspector in the Brampton area that might do a inspection this week after 6pm.

Wondering if you guys can recommend anyone? If you can post up reviews on the individual / company.

Im pretty handy etc, but I am not aware of builidind codes, etc that will get me into trouble e in the future...

I hired Patrick Auriol who is an inspector with Canadian Residential Inspection Services to do mine. He was extremely thorough, and spent 7 hours on my little townhouse here in Brampton. His write-up was also fantastic, clear and concise. He hit the nail on the head with everything the home needed, as backed by the electrician and plumbers I've had in since. Actually, if anything, the inspector was more retentive than the electrician, so I think that says a lot about him. Nothing was overlooked.

He also does home inspections for the Habitat for Humanity homes, so he's gotten cred through them too.

Any idea what he charged? Or would that be based on the home itself?

I don't mind paying a bit more for a through inspection....

You will pay a ton more if you use a bad one. NEVER use one that your real estate agent recommends. Lots of self appointed experts out there.
