Large dia O-ring? Vortex cap?

I need to replace the O-ring on a Vortex keyless gas cap, my suppliers only sell big kits for $40...I only need one O-ring about 2-5/8" diameter....Does anyone know of a local store that sell O-ring around that size single or in small packages without having to buy a 200 pc kit?

Try a place that makes hydraulic hoses, like Omniflex, Regional Hose or Cisco.
 
Plumbing dept??

Don't know if it might be gas resistant tho
 
My GF needs one for the vortex on her 07 Gixxer 600 too. Riding it around a bit of gas starts to leak out the top, no matter how hard you screw it down. I looked, no o-ring.

If you find one please let me know where.

I am looking for somewhere that stocks sizes that large, I dont want to have to order 10+ only to find out it wont work...Basically Id like to walk into a store with the cap, and try a few sizes they have to see which one works the best...

I will try some places tomorrow, just dont want to spend the whole day burning gas driving round looking for a 50 cent O-ring

There is specific Loktite glue so you can make any diameter "O" ring. "O" ring material type by the cm and glue at any bearing/pump seal supply house!

Got em! Pneutech Rousseau in Mississauga 345 superior blvd. Guy at Cisco wrote down 445 Nutech so it was hard to find since that doesnt exist, but I found it after giving up and driving back down the street.

50 cents each they have o-rings made to withstand gasoline

There's a bearing shop on went worth in Whitby that sells o-rings, can't remember the name but it's in one of the strip plazas on the right heading east. They'll probably have it.

I bought 4 for $2, if you really want one PM me your address and I can get my sister to mail one out when she does the mailing at my work
