All SOAR members who are planning on coming to the opening lapping weekend May 11th and 12th should register thru SOAR/Ken. All non SOAR members need to register thru GBR (website is currently down due to server issues but hope to have it up shortly you can also call the track 519 238 7223 ex 0) spots are limited.
Cost is as follows Per day - $125 in Advance $150 at the gate. Sat & Sun - $225 in Advance, $275 at the gate. Sat will be the modified track (as the dragstrip is in operation) Sunday will be Long Track (re first round being a Long track event)

Does the 225 for sat and Sunday also applies to SOAR racers?

Sorry - we both screwed up somewhat - my post re pricing is correct except I forgot to add the Gov't's portion HST so it is $141.25 per day in advance like the SOAR registry says. and $169.50 at the gate. Ken forgot to drop the buy both days in advance price to $225 plus hst so it should be $254.25 (i will email him to make the adjustment)

Wish I could make it both days but I have to be at Speedworx on Saturday.

I will definitely be there on Sunday though! Will be great to see everyone again.
 
I would love to make it out to this, looking to carpool (and split costs obviously), but if not, I should be able arrange my own ride. PM me :)

Re the GBM website - lost all websites for 4 days (our server/provider crashed in the US - Tks Dotster) and took them 4 days to resurrect our websites. Back up now but still not 100%. We have someone in the office all week 9-5 (except today she was off but Ron was in & out) and I was there all day Monday and Yesterday ? when you call in and the message starts hit 0 and someone will answer.:p
 
Sorry guys here is the poop. Paul and I agreed on pricing however it somehow got lost in cyber hell going to the IT goddess. That same goddess that does all that is SOAR IT also has a real job and is out of town until Wed sooooooo no fixing it now (being that my skills are taxed just typing this). Its my fault and all I can offer is anyone registering will be entitled to a credit for the difference. Just ask and I will make it so (for all the Trekkies in the crowd)
 
I've never been to a track, if I want to spectate can I just show up? I assume they let ya in for free...

No there is an entrance fee, like 15 or 20 not sure.

Worth it, you get to see my sorry *** arrive last... oh wait not a race weekend.. doesn't matter I will still be last at a track day

lol. I think I'll go anyway, should be fun to watch.
 
if you come Sat besides watching the motorcycle lapping you can watch some nostalgia stuff on the dragstrip (ONDR race), a bunch of our regular drag cars testing and tuning and Sat night sprint cars etc on the oval. Cost is $15 for Sat and/or the weekend. (N/C on Sun.)
