I'm heading out Sunday, be in Thunder Bay on Monday. My wife is meeting me there to ride the American side of Superior. Does anyone have any suggestions for stops, must sees, adventures, places to stay?

I have been out to Thunder Bay and back. Here's a ride report - you might find some useful stuff in there. Are you camping or staying in motels? Old Woman Bay (near Soo/Wawa) is a nice place to stop for a short rest. Aguasabon falls is also another nice rest stop further along the 17. Are you crossing at Manitoulin or going around? The ferry ride across is a nice break and the ride up to Espanola is well worth it. If you catch the early ferry, you can make very good time.
