Hi All: Long Weekend coming up and trying to plan a nice ride for the wife and me. Was thinking about Niagara Falls, but the hotel prices are very high and we've already done the ride 3x this summer. We also go to Montreal and Mont Tremblant, but it's a little far for 3 days.

Any suggestions with good roads? We're doing the route below this Sat (pretty much for the Monck Road section)... https://maps.google.com/maps?saddr=...o1M9EQ&t=h&mra=dvme&mrsp=4&sz=10&via=2,4&z=10

Any other suggestions? Any routes you have done or good destinations. And, lastly, what are plans for the Last Long Weekend of the Summer?

Do you want to stay north of the border? Do you have a maximum hour/kilometer limit you like to stick to for a day?

I'm still trying to figure out where I'm going this weekend :)

I have the second week in September off, and also some days in October for my fall colour runs, so the long weekend isn't a biggie for me

Monck Road is how I start most of my day rides. After you hit 35 try heading up to Deep Bay Road, it's always fun. Then you have the chance of doing 503 to 507.

Personally, I have plans on camping up north.. lookin forward to it

Yes, I would prefer to stay in Canada. I try to support Canadians as much as possible and want to be able to say that I have explored our great nation. I try to want to keep inside 500 - 700km round trip. So looking for something inside 300km from T.Dot (circle below)

North Bay
Sarnia -- Toronto -- Perth
Port Stanley Niagara

Swing through Madoc on Saturday or Sunday to catch some awesome motocross racing with the MMRS national
