I just bought 2 more of these today. I've been using an older model for about 4 years or more hanging above my motorcycle lift (under my mezzanine) and it's been great, just been waiting for them to go on sale to get more. I leave it to the motion sensor to automatically turn on and off, but it also comes with a wireless remote if you prefer to control it manually.

OOS online. Hopefully some in stores. Sounds helpful to have motion lights. I added a solar motion light in the garage for when my wife garages her car in the dark in winter (her opener chews through bulbs so I stopped replacing them).

Tip. If our opener eats bulbs, screw one of these into its light socket then plug in your led fixture.
