What are you guys using? I want to order the Dainese ones but they wear out pretty quick. Any suggestions?

Bickle has some good ones

aaaaaaaand bickle.. end thread. seriously, if you use the sliders as the feeler they are, his are the best. feels like sliding on teflon, even at Bogie

Bickle x3, for a couple of reasons:
1) Not because he's a regular contributor to this forum but because he makes very good sliders. Price is very competitive and they last longer than most. $39 on his website. 2) Because he’s a regular contributor on this forum and provides good insight and feedback for all, on many topics. I have a spyke suit (reverse Velcro)......any input for alternatives? Only thing I've been told is to replace the side on the suit to accept others or keep buying spyke

Nexo also has reverse, not sure if that helps you. Bickle I think made me a pair that was reverse, ask him

I have a nexo suit too but not reverse, thanks for the info guys

I find the stock Dainese ones grab like hell and don't slide all that well. I only use them on trackdays. I have a set of bickles and they work mint but they're almost dead. Used Wiz ones all last season because I got them for christmas. I find them to slide about the same as Bickle but they are thicker and last a bit longer. On the flip side they cost more.

Go to any cloth surplus type store and you can buy velcro with adhesive backing. Stick the reverse to the positive "back sides" and you're good to go.

We make reverse velcro,, just have to order them or e-mail me. We usually have them in stock in normal colours.

Ya, we have done this in a pinch for guys at the track,,, not recommended for a fix! Will "maybe" get you by for a day or so.
The average suit starts at $40 to replace velcro on the knees. The Spyke are usually pretty hard as the knees start to get layered with armour.
So $39 for a set of reverse velcro sliders is probably the cheapest route.

Thanks everyone for the kind words.
We make our sliders to last. I can only get one type of harder plastic and the increase in cost does not seem to add to the longevity.
In 2001 we won the RRW knee slider comparison test.
Audrey from Moto Liberty in Texas, threw my sliders in unknown to me.[Thanks Audrey]
Of about 20 different makes like , Wiz,Dainese, A&G, Klucky ,, we tied for first.
We didn't win the "bling" test, but on on wear and feel we did well.
Since then the only change we have made is to thicken them up.
Any slider will wear okay if you are not hard on your knees. But feedback is also a big aspect.
You may not wear the slider out but if the plastic is too soft it can dampen the feel.
Now for those of you who are not dragging your knee,, how about "pre scuffed" sliders.
We can do it! Should have some available after the first test weekend, first of May.
Pre -order is a must!

Been riding on Bics for years. Tough and dont grab and local. What more can you ask for? Got a spiffy pink set at the moment. :D
