Looking to get my kid a jacket for riding but the only jackets I find are around 200 bucks.

Does any body know where I can get a jacket at a fair price or is this fair.

Depending on their age and size, When I grabbed kids gear I just hit ebay & kijiji searching for whatever brand and piece I was after and the size small, XS, or XXS. Hit the usual close out sites and see what's being offered there too.

there was a recent thread about kids gear. try Royal clearance womens small and xsmall. Look for gender neautral designs from Joe Rocket, Technik, etc...

Bought my son a jacket from GP bikes he is 9 going on 10 weight in at around 75-80 pounds just bought it one size bigger so he can grow into it cost was around $170.

I bought a leather suit from a gentleman on this forum for $100.
It's a little big lengthwise for them, but was too small for him.
He bought it on eBay I think.

Before that I had a lady's small blue jacket and some men's pants from McBride's closing, that I just gave away this year to someone on a course.
