hi i got only one key for my cbr125 and i was wondering where i can get key blanks so i can go make a spare key just in case

are the cheap ebay knock offs any good? has anyone tried them? I want to make a spare one for my track gsxr, but don't feel like paying dealer prices

I'm not sure about Hondas but I got my Kawi key blank and cut by a local locksmith in Oshawa. Check with some local locksmiths to you. The blanks won't have Honda or the wings on them, but they'll work. If you want original Honda blanks, you'll need to try the dealer or ebay.

I got three cut for my 600rr locksmith said they are made of poor metal and will damage the cylinder eventually... they work for now and I will be selling the bike next season so I'm not worried

when you say key blanks, do you mean dealer keys? or just regular keys? and how much for the key and copy?
also i lost the original key that went with the bike, but i had a spare dealer key i bought and had it copied at home depot (BIG MISTAKE) and it doesn't fit well, still works, but probably needs a minor adjustment, can you fix that?

You prob already got this figured out but I'll add my $0.02 for the record, I had my spare key for my 1993 Honda nighthawk 750 ( key blank hd75 ) copied at ASAP locksmiths at 5461 Younge (around Finch ). It was $5 per copy, they had the blanks in stock. Friendly pro service.
