hey guys, so I'm looking to move up too a 1000cc bike and may have found the bike I'm looking for but i wanted to see what you all think. So I have a 2005 kawasaki zx6r (636) titanium colour, the bike has about 35,000kms and never been down runs perfectly fine, it has a Gold DID chain, a new set of tires as well, Brand new ebc brakes, ive put a steering dampner on it, k&n filter, carbon fiber yoshimura rs-5 exhaust, solo seat, integrated tail light, double bubble Puig screen, integrated turn signals, swingarm spools. I have found someone willing to trade a 2004 honda cbr 1000 completely stock with 11,000kms on it. Is this a good trade? let me know what you think

cheers

I would say a good deal as you don't get close to your money back with aftermarket parts, If you haven't mentioned the extras to him I would replace as much of it as you can back to stock then sell the parts seperately.
As long as it hasn't had many owners you should be good as I have found the more owners the harder to keep up to date with maintenance and more people to have had there fun beating it.

But all in all I would say its a good deal if you want to move up.

I am watching kijiji and craigslist quite often - litre SS bikes are typically take longer to sell and depreciate faster, IMHO. If I were u - I would sell your 600 and went to Quebec or States for a liter bike. Always better choice when u have cash.
