Hello all,

Was riding on Canada coming back from downtown, and when i got on the highway my left mirror slammed back against the front fairing.
When I tried to push it back up, it wouldn't go because its super loose now.
I looked at it to see how It could be fixed, but there is no screw on either side.
So I cannot tighten it, i was wondering if anyone else has experienced this problem?
If so what are my solutions to fixing it ?
THX

Both Kawa bikes I've had have had a plate inside the faring that helps the mirror tighten up with nuts. Sounds like you've lost this?

hmmmmm,
I dont think its the same part that your talking about.
Its the part which is attached to bike, the swivel part.
Hard to explain.
I will take a picture later if i can

There is a bolt to tighten the swivel, there is just a rubber cap covering it. Its a round rubber cap pull it off to reveal the bolt head

I dont think there is a bolt ?
I have a 2008 zx6r.
I will take pictures after, But i dont see a bolt under the "rubber cap"

2003-2011 I dont think either....I KNOW! They all have a 6mm allen head bolt at the pivot to adjust how tight it is

These are aftermarket so there is no rubber cap, the OEM ones should have a rubber cap covering the 6mm allen head bolt
