Hello,
I own a Kawasaki Vulcan 500 and have the following problems .... sometimes.
When I first start riding and put the bike into 1st gear it sometimes makes quite a loud "Thunk" this is not consistent. I do pull the clutch in completely.
Once i'm moving I sometimes have a problem putting it into 3rd & 4th gear just does not want to drop into those gears.
Both these issues are erratic.
Any ideas what this might be due to?
Also should the disk pads be touching the disk or should there be a slight gap? I have noticed they touch the disks all the time and they always squeak.
