Kawasaki parts

Anyone know of a good place to get kawasaki parts? Looked on eBay and local dealer and they are asking too much for a handlebar clip-on... And I'm not sure how much I would trust a salvage yard for this part.

Thanks.

part number?

I have places to order Kawi parts at %30 off, but if your only buying one part shipping and import fees make it not worth it...You need more then one $100 clipon to make it worth the discount...

Correction... it's not that it was too expensive... it's just that I don't think a clip-on handlebar should cost that much.

Looking for these two (Ninja 250 2010):
39058A (right clip-on handle bar)
43001 (Brake pedal)

Then make your own, if you think its cheap to manufacture them. Or buy aftermarket made in China crap for half the price..

BTW those are not part numbers, those are only the micro fiche numbers...Not full part numbers...

these are your actual part numbers

39058-0008-18R
HANDLE-COMP,RH,BLACK
43001-0100
LEVER-BRAKE,PEDAL

Prices are usual for a OEM brake brake pedal, and OEM clipon...At about $100 for the bar and $80 for the pedal retail.....Online places with %20-30 discount bring you down to about $75/$65 but again shipping and import costs bring you back up or even more then the local retail pricing...

Crashing motorcycles is expensive unfortunately

You missed the point Johnny... I'm not trying to cheap out on parts for my bike, and it's not like the $100 bucks for the handlebar will make much difference in my pocket. I just don't believe that the part itself should cost that much.

And I would say thanks for looking for the part number and price... but I don't believe that justifies your arrogant post (which seems to be common here in GTAM).

In reality, if you don't have anything constructive to say, you should just keep your thoughts to yourself.

Sorry to hurt your feelings, but I've been there and done this many times. And that is just the cost of owning and crashing a Japanese motorcycle. Rearsets, handle bars, and levers are around $100 each. So bend over or figure something else out that's cheaper. The last time I checked this was a public forum so I am aloud to post what I want, as long as i am not insulting you personally. If you don't like my opinion there is an ignore button for you to use. Good luck with your search

LOL... sounds like you're being cheap bro.

I had a low speed lowside and paid ~$2500 in OEM parts.
If a broken clip on is the worst you have to deal with, consider yourself lucky.

OP...your the end customer....think about how many diff. people/vendors need to touch that part / stock tools, pay employees, pay over head, pay for materials etc etc etc to make that part and come up with a part number and have it readily available to purchase.

There is a LOT of hidden costs ....everyone who's touching / involved in it...needs to make something....not to mention quality control at diff. stages, and paying those quality people as well...

Your seeing it as a $100 part being too expensive....if you calculate how much it would cost you to setup production to manufacture this part and make a living...you'll see how $100 or $xx.xx is reasonable.

Buy use on ebay.
