Kawasaki Ninja 250r with 8 spoke Yamaha VFR rear rim

The Honda VFR single sided swing arm swap is common for a lot of bikes. I wouldn't recommend ponying up the $$$ and doing it on a 250R.

There's a kit made by Sportisi for this mod. It includes both wheels. I can't find it on their website, but someone mentioned it early march on ninjette.org

Here's a pic of the kit:

Hi everyone, first post on here. On this clip http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uJQGzsMdXvs at 45 seconds and again at 2 minutes and 41 seconds there appears to be Ninja 250r's with something similar 3rd generation Yamaha VFR rear rims. Just wondering if anyone knows how this is possible and is so where can you buy these rims they look great.
That is a MONSTER sized sprocket on the Ninja 250. Probably does 80kph :D

If you get the single sided swingarm and want to mod up a super shorty exhaust to show off the full tire let me know :D

Pretty cool. I love single sided swing arms. Something tells me it wouldn't work on the 650R with the linkage-less suspension though.

prolly not. I like them on bikes that were designed for them or customs, but spending that kind of dough on something you ride daily would likely be better put into suspension upgrades. I'm sure that conversion isn't cheap.
