Kawa Ninja 250 R Tires- Recommendations

can anyone recommend some tires for my 250 R? Any past experiences with tires? what not to buy? what to buy? How long is tread wear? etc.

You might have trouble locating a set...they are always out of stock.

I would never attempt this kind of idiocy on any other tire.

I couldn't find the Pirelli Sport Demons anywhere so i just bought the Dunlop GT 501's . They're a good tire. A liitle bit better than the stock IRC's the bike came with. But I can't really tell the difference since most of my riding was on the street.
 
I run a set of the Bridgestone BT45's. Been very good to me, especially in wet conditions. Fairly even wear w/ 5000km, still more than few more thousand left. Best price I found for a set was with Pete's Superbike.
