Kapscomoto, read the reviews at your peril

Hmm....so i'm a bit peeved about this.

I bought these mirrors end of last season for my KTM. I've also bough other stuff before with no major issues.

http://www.kapscomoto.com/product_p/sf-m09n53.htm

Put them on, the VERY FIRST RIDE they turned to crap. withing 30 min of riding both started to droop from vibrations, it went from me adjusting them every 15 min to one flopping away in the wind with the other flopping down withing a minute of adjustment b the end of the 2 hour ride....Hey, you get what you pay for and i'm truly not ****** off about that.

What i did do is write a fair and balanced review on the website stating exactly what happened. Said that they looked nice but that functionality was crap.

Today i went back to the website to order another set, not bar ends but to see what they have in the OEM mounting position. for ***** and giggles i looked the original mirrors. Lo and behold my review is gone....Only 3 reviews on there now and two are favourable?! So how many other people have written reviews and had their review quietly removed?

**** you Kapscomoto, you aint getting any of my business again.

they removed all 4 of the reviews i have posted. 1 item was good, 2 were "meh' and the third, negative.

i avoid them.

yeah same here. the item i bought had issues. to make a long story short, i had to go to great lengths to prove the product was defective. i didn't mind it at that time, since u can really see the issue. i figured they would just take care of it no problem. i understand they want to make sure and not lose $$ but the issue was very clear at first glance. it took more than a week for them to acknowledge that the product was defective.

just to give you guys an idea on how clear the issue was, it's like buying a 50" lcd tv, the store ships it to you, you open the box, the tv only has half a screen and half of that screen is smashed. you take a pic of everything and contact them right away then it's like them saying 'prove it' on their first reply.

anyways, my review described the product/issue/and what had happened. it had enough details.
