Kanetix quotes?

are the kanetix quotes the cheapest quotes you can obtain?

i find it a bit strange that a 21 year old with 5 years driving experience and a squeaky clean record (up until recently) would have to pay 2700 bucks for a 1996 ford ranger (i live in scarborough-pickering area so that might be a factor but still)

also i wanted to get 90-92 im guessing that the older the better for insurance?

Any online quote leaves room for errors. Personally, I find the best way to get a quote is to pick up the phone and call as many insurance companies as I can. I know it's time consuming but well worth it.
Pick up trucks are usually cheap to insure. Call around on Tuesday and see if you can get a better quote.

All the online quotes do is put you in the ballpark. At least thats as much as they can guarantee. I've had quotes from Kanetix turn out to be accurate, and then the next time on a different vehicle be way off.

For the most part, Kanetix is pretty accurate for car/truck insurance; however, it will only quote you with a few of the main insurance companies in Ontario. Quoting with Kanetix will not find you the cheapest available rate. There are lots of other sites that will give online quotes to help you find your cheapest rate:

- Kanetix
- Insurancehotline.com
- TD Insurance
- Belair Direct

My guess is that Belair will probably be one of the cheapest for a younger guy like you. In addition to these sites, you could contact brokers/agents directly for quotes.
