Just Replaced Ducati Clutch Plates and Basket

To all the duck owners out there, I just had the clutch plates, springs, and basket replaced at Rosie Toes. I have a 2005 Ducati S4R and I used to have quite a noise for the dry clutch when the bike was in neutral when the clutch was not engaged. After the work was done there is no noticable noise for the clutch when in neutral, compared to when the clutch is engaged. I thought you could still hear the normal rattle of the dry clutch when it is not engaged. The plates are Barnett Dry Clutch Plates with a Ducati factory basket, is this supposed to be as quiet as it sounds or did the machnaic put them in wrong ? The bike seems to run ok and the clutch is working fine. any information would be appreated, thank you.

give it time, it will make some noise!
the tabs on the cluch plates will 'seat' into the new basket and begin to shake and rattle soon enough

As a ex-mechanic that serviced many (albeit older) Ducatis, I would be slightly worried that there is no characteristic "Ducati" noise.

It's been a while since I've worked on them, I don't know the S4R and if everything works/feels fine, just keep an eye on things.

Mark most of the dry clutch noise comes from a combination of worn basket and clutch plate tangs. The gap between the tangs and the basket increase as the plates wear or the basket or both. The new Alloy baskets tends to wear a lot quicker too. Most Ducati owners simply don't maintain their clutches properly and a well maintained dry clutch will be relativily quiet. Anyone telling you otherwise is talking rubbish.

I am also having a issue finding neutral when I am stopped a light. if I shut the bike off no problem, can it be the plates need to be broken in?
