Just got my M1

No bike yet. No street experience at all, just dirt. Will be signing up at Sheridan soon for my M1 exit course.
Looking at Ninja 300. Start small work my way up from there. Plus 2 teenage boys want to drive too!! Excited to get on the streets soon!!

Welcome! Awesome, and a Ninja 300 looks like a solid bike! Though, ever thought of a 250 for a first bike? Just from experience, I bought a brand new 250 and rode it for a year then wanted to upgrade to something else.

Ninja 300s look like solid bikes! Not much different from a 250 and they're great starter bikes. You should check out RTI's course aswell if you haven't already.

Also you don't drive a bike, you ride it!

I thought the same thing about my teenage boys when I first got my bike...that it would be good for them too... after I started riding it I had second thoughts and said screw that, if they want a bike let them bloody well buy their own...

a used bike would be another way to go...I like the styling of the 300 plus a lot of reveiwers are saying it is a much better bike than the 250...good rates on insurane too
