Just got my first bike!

1984 Honda VFR500F. Definitely needs a tune up (I hear Rosy Toes is the place to go), but is there somewhere preferably closer to Oakville that will do a good job on a safety? I have the temporary plate for 10 days, so timing is somewhat tight, and a trip to North York would have to be planned in advance.

Other than that, I love it. Far more than I thought I would, actually.

ACE MOTO-TECH in Milton, there are reviews on here for him and you'll be in good hands for sure.

+1 Adrian is awesome. Truly passionate about bikes. His shop is clean and his services can't be beat. Nothing but good reviews. Cheers and congrats on the bike bike! Ride safe!

+2 on Adrian.. I would find it incredibly hard to believe that he would ever not exceed expectations. Probably also the nicest guy you've ever met - let's you hang out in his shop while it rains and bother him while he tries to eat his lunch and fix bikes.

Awesome first bike!I had one for 2.5 years, even took it for a week down to the tail of the dragon. By any chance is it all red? I always wondered what happened to my bike after I sold it.

Not all red. It's the one with the big white diagonal block down the side. Here's an example (not mine) http://www.motorcyclespecs.co.za/Gallery/Honda VF500F 1.jpg It is a sharp looking bike, considering its age. Took it for another spin last night and woke up just wanting to ride it again.

I think I may have a problem... :D

ya, it is a nice bike. One day I'll buy one and have it fully restored. Mine was painted completely Honda red, with a Autobot sticker on the tail.
