just changed my oil, should i change it again?

after i filled up my bike with oil about an hr later. i realized
uh oh! i put the washer BEFORE the spring. when putting the filter assembly back together

idoit move on my part lol

now question is should i bleed out my brand new oil just to fix my filter by putting the washer on after the spring

or will it not affect the bike and not to bother with it until next oil change?

I'd pull just the filter, fix the spring/washer, put the filter back and check the level. may need to top up, depending on how much comes out.

yea thanks matt i just pulled out filter to switch the washer position. better have peace in mind while riding right lol

catch the oil in a clean container and refill it back

as long as you had the spring in the housing first before the filter the washer doesnt really matter. the washer protects the seal on the filter from the spring.
